On the 11th January, I asked the Leader of the House, Penny Mordaunt MP, if we could have a debate in Government time on the progress in delivering the New Hospital Programme and discuss the benefits that it will bring to residents of Carshalton and Wallington.
In my time so far as MP for Carshalton and Wallington, I have helped secure £500 million for a new hospital locally and the much-needed refurbishment of St Helier Hospital. It is fantastic that A&E and maternity departments are being protected and I will continue to push Ministers to ensure that work can continue on these projects as quickly as possible.
