Today I met with Sarcoma UK to mark Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month.
Talking to the team, I got to hear more about the work that they’re doing on the difficulties that children, teenagers & young adults with Sarcoma face.
It’s clear that more needs to be done to improve outcomes for those with Sarcoma, giving everyone living with it the best chance of survival. I care deeply about this, and I'll be using my role as Chair of the APPG on Cancer to work with colleagues across Government and the various charities involved to ensure this is realised.
