Earlier today, I highlighted the current situation surrounding our local healthcare services in Carshalton and Wallington - right here in Parliament. What's more, I did so directly with the Minister.
I've long campaigned to improve and protect our local healthcare provisions.
I appreciated the opportunity to lobby the Minister on this, presenting our local case - including the state of St Helier Hospital, progress on the new hospital and access to pharmacists, GPs, and dentists.
As such, I was glad to hear what the Minister had to say in response, especially in terms of forthcoming announcements around the new hospital and releasing the money to improve St Helier, as well as recognising the work that I've been putting in to ensure Carshalton and Wallington remains front and centre in Health Ministers' minds.
