Today I met virtually with the local police to talk about issues on the Roundshaw estate.
I've spoken with many Roundshaw residents about problems they are facing, including speeding, unnecessarily loud vehicles, crime and anti-social behaviour, and especially on Roundshaw Downs.
I was pleased to use the opportunity to raise this issues with the police, who assured me they were working on solutions, particularly for the anti-social behaviour on the Downs, which they are working on with Sutton and Croydon Councils.
In addition, I urged the police to use the additional policing resources that are coming to allow for another dedicated officer to increase a visible police presence on the estate.
In the meantime, the police urged residents to ensure they are reporting any crime and anti-social behaviour to them, even if it feels frequent.
Remember, you can report crime and anti-social behaviour to the police online here. Please make sure you are reporting any and all crime and anti-social behaviour you see, and it is important that the police have a clear picture of what is happening on the estate in order to take action.
