During the pandemic, we have to thank our key workers in supermarkets for keeping going and feeding the country.
I was delighted to visit Asda in Wallington today to hand over a Certificate of Appreciation for all the staff that work there, but also here more about how they've been keeping their customers safe while remaining open.
We also spoke about a number of issues they face being situated on Beddington Lane, which I have arranged to help them with to benefit residents and customers.
In addition, it was great to hear about the community work that Asda are facilitating, such as food collections, in order to give back to the local area as well.
I also used the opportunity to talk to the local McDonalds Manager while I was there about how he is also keeping customers safe and their plans for re-opening across the area.
Thanks to all our key workers for keeping going!
