It was great to meet with Louisa Olafuyi in December to hear more about their fantastic local company - Kunda Kids - which looks at creative ways to educate children about African history and culture.
I was really grateful to Louisa and her husband Dele for kindly sending me a free copy of their wonderful children's book series, which is beautifully illustrated and aims to inspire the next generation of leaders and influencers about the rich tapestry of history across Africa.
I will be donating these to the Queen Mary's Children's Hospital, based at St Helier, and I hope that the books will bring joy and inspiration to many of our local children.
