I've heard from many local residents in Wallington about the moped crash scams happening around Ross Parade and Woodcote Road.
This behaviour is completely unacceptable. The moped drivers are deliberately putting themselves in dangerous situations to try and get money from insurance scams.
It is so important that if you are to witness this taking place, that you note down as many details as possible so that you can pass them along to the police.
I am in touch with our local police force for Wallington and we are discussing ways in which we can increase patrols in this area, to prevent this type of thing from happening in the first place.
Once again, it is so important that if you witness this happen, you should report it to the police and give your details to the driver so you can also act as their witness in this case.
