It was a pleasure to visit Tweeddale Primary School in Carshalton today to speak to staff and pupils about various issues.
I met with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Premises Manager and others to hear about the work they are doing in the school, and executives from the Greenshaw Learning Trust who have recently welcomed the school into their family.
I was also grilled by some Year 6 pupils who wanted to find out more about Parliament and life as an MP - they asked some pretty tough questions!
The road outside the school was a concern for the staff, so I have said I would talk to the Council to see what we could do.
Thank you to the staff and pupils for making me feel so welcome!
