Did you know that £1.7 billion in Pension Credit went unclaimed last year?
The credits are an important way for many pensioners to 'top up' their income and help with the cost of living.
Work must be done locally and nationally to promote the credits and ensure that as many people as possible are signed up.
That's why I recently asked the Minister about the work being done by DWP to boost intake, as well as drawing on my recent letter to all pension-age residents letting them know about pension credit and the pension uplift.
