Over the last few months, my team and I have received a number of messages from constituents expressing frustration - with many at their wits end - over the enormous waiting times currently faced for passport applications and visas.
On the back of this, I was very glad to have the opportunity recently to use questions to the Cabinet Office to ask the Ministers what work was being done by the Home Office to improve their systems, increasing efficiency, and speeding applications up.
