All forms of parking enforcement are coming back into force from 1st July across Carshalton and Wallington.
Sutton Council agreed to suspend most of it's parking enforcement during the Coronavirus outbreak, except in cases where the enforcement was necessary from a safety perspective.
From 15th June the Council will reinstate parking restrictions for loading and limited-time bays in High Streets to facilitate the safe delivery of stock and servicing of essential equipment for businesses.
From 22nd June the Council will reinstate enforcement across CPZs (controlled parking zones) and PPAs (permit parking areas).
These will be enforced by a system of warning notices until 30th June, except in cases of safety concerns, and then all parking restrictions will be reinforced and enforced by PCNs from 1st July.
NHS staff, health and social care workers and NHS volunteers (critical care workers) can apply for a free parking pass through their employer. There will also be no enforcement of those whose blue badges expired after on or after 1st January 2020 whilst they are waiting to have their renewal processed.
