It was a pleasure to catch up with the Chief Executive of Stonewall, Nancy Kelley, today to talk about LGBT+ issues.
It was particularly good to speak to Nancy in the middle of pride month, especially as we are celebrating pride very differently this year, in lockdown, unable to come together and celebrate with each other.
We spoke primarily about ending conversion therapy and reforming the Gender Recognition Act (GRA), both of which are very important to me.
I look forward to continuing to work closely with Stonewall as an openly gay MP to ensure we build on the success of the LGBT Action Plan 2018, and make the UK an even better place to be an openly LGBT+ person.
