On Monday I visited Sutton Pharmacy, Hackbridge Pharmacy and Anna Pharmacy as part of my continuing conversations with our fantastic local pharmacists and how I can support them during the current funding crisis.
It was a pleasure to meet with Sanjay Patel and Jaymil Patel - and their teams - and hear more about the pressures our pharmacies are facing.
This follows on from a virtual meeting we had earlier this month, where we discussed the recent EY report into the impact of current funding on independent pharmacies in England, as well as the wider policy and economic environment. You can read more on that here.
I will continue to work with local pharmacies in pressing the Government to provide the support required.
