One of my favourite things to be able to do as your local MP is running my annual Christmas card competition, giving children from across our area the opportunity to design my Christmas card. Previous winning designs have featured on the Prime Minister's mantelpiece, with this one also going to His Majesty Charles III.
Things were really getting into the Christmas spirit with the team as I had my work out judging the hundreds of entries that received. And there were some really creative designs, too.
However, there could only be one winner - 10 year-old Jethro! It was great to join him as he helped switch on the Christmas lights on Friday. His artwork is currently with the Elf Design Team as they work their festive magic transforming it into my Christmas card! Please do keep an eye out for it!
