We hear it a lot from ULEZ supporters as a way to back up the zone's enlargement.
Yet the latest figures from the scrappage scheme speak for themselves.
Just 1% of non-ULEZ vehicles in Greater London have been approved for the Mayor's limited support. Our borough's numbers are just as bad.
Conservatives across London, from MPs, to Assembly Members and councillors have been calling out the scheme for what it is since the very start - un-inspiring, under-funded, and under-whelming.
Just because we're waiting to hear the outcome of the High Court doesn't mean the fight stops or the pressure backs down.
Whatever happens, we need to be ready to continue the fight.
