Following a number of residents getting in touch with me over issues and concerns they were having with the state of the alleyway behind Wallington Station, I called a meeting with Network Rail at the site.
Whilst there, I was able to show them the spread and extent of vegetation that wasn't just encroaching on the path but starting to edge closer to the garages there. I
appreciated Network Rail coming out to the site, seeing the state of the alley, and their assurances that they would start the ball rolling in getting their vegetation team out to the site. I will continue to work with Network Rail to ensure proper checks and schemes are put in place that will hopefully put an end to the anti-social behaviour that's been taking place down the alleyway.
As your local Member of Parliament, I'm always keen to hear from residents about anything troubling them - and then work out how best I can help.
My team and I cover various issues, so please get in touch, either by calling 02087732843 or sending an email to [email protected].
You can also book a constituent advice surgery with me so we can go through your issues together via the contact details above!
