Getting to chair the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Restorative Justice is one of my favourite parts about being an MP.
I was determined to set-up the APPG following my election - to increase the profile of restorative justice in Parliament and build on the incredible campaigning of local residents Ray and Vi Donavan.
The APPG is doing great work bringing various organisations, charities, and parliamentarians together to put restorative approaches centre in discussions over the justice system.
It was great to hear what the APPG are up to at one of our recent meetings to discuss what we've been doing in Parliament, and plan our next steps!
