It was humbling to attend the launch of the Pakistan Report at the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Freedom of Religion or Belief today.
We heard the ongoing concerns about the treatment of Ahmadis in Pakistan and the human rights abuses they face.
This was following a visit by the APPG to Pakistan earlier in the year.
The report will be published on the APPG website here.
I will continue to work with this APPG and the APPG on the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, which I am proud to be a Vice Chair of, to press the UK Government to use all bilateral and international opportunities to raise these issue and bring about change in Pakistan's constitution and laws.
You can also read the debate I held about treatment of Ahmadi Muslims in Pakistan earlier this year here.
